The group of women have planned to continue the practise of skills they have learned at special schools. It has been operated from a pre-school halls on Saturday only with 20 learners, we have moved to our accommodation on the 25th of February 2012. The programme caters for youth intellectual disabilities who finished special schooling at the age of 18 years.

Our Mission & Vision
Second Chance Skills Development Programme has the vision to enhanceskills of the youth with disabilities and to sensitise communities of the abilities and capabilities of this youth. We take them at the age of 14 years old.

Currently we have increased to 168 learners, with 12 volunteers teaching and 7 sub-committee members

We teach our learners to design and create crafts
Gardening
Our learners are equipped with various skills including planting vegetables
Recreation activities
We have a wonderful, exciting netball team, always ready to play with their opponents
